Betsy Broome grew up in Oakwood, Georgia, raised by her mom and older sister in the North Georgia foothills. Her childhood nickname, Jubilee, captures her gift for celebrating life. A teenager who spent countless hours on horseback, she discovered dance on the color guard team and carried that spirit into her college years at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega through Phi Mu, where she found a sisterhood that has lasted a lifetime. To this day, give Betsy a great song and she will find a dance floor.

Service has always been Betsy's calling. After more than two decades as a cardiac nurse in middle Tennessee, she made a bold transition from healthcare to hospitality, trading her scrubs for a new way to serve. Now in her fourth season as a VIP Tour Guide at Dollywood, she creates guest experiences so memorable that people can't wait to come back. That same warmth extends to Hunkerdown Hollow, where she welcomes guests to their one-of-a-kind Lighthouse rental and Surf the Smokies, the family's Fliteboard-partnered Fliteschool. She is also a faithful volunteer whenever her boys' schools or friends in need call upon her.

Betsy met Trey in the mountains of North Carolina, and this December they will celebrate 25 years of marriage. Together they have raised two precious boys: Parker, 21, a senior at the University of Northwestern Ohio, and Sawyer, 16, a sophomore at Sevier County High School who keeps the whole family busy with travel hockey and lacrosse. She shares the farm with Delta, her beloved dog, six spirited goats, and more chickens than she'll admit to counting. She is thrilled to share the dance floor with Trey and help raise money for the United Way of Sevier County.

When Trey first chose the mountains as a Western Carolina University student in the mid-90s, he set a trajectory from which he has never wavered. The son of an Army family who graduated high school at Fort Bragg, that first decision to head for the Smokies was entirely his own and his family is blessed to now have their final home in these mountains.

After earning his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia, Trey married Betsy, a nurse he met while interning in Highlands, North Carolina, and the two put down roots in Tennessee. They raised their boys — Parker, 21, a King's Academy graduate now studying high-performance motorsports at the University of Northwestern Ohio, and Sawyer, 16, a sophomore at Sevier County High School who plays lacrosse and travel ice hockey with the Jr. Ice Bears — with a family-wide commitment to service recognized by their schools and community.

By day, Trey serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations leading healthcare teams at WellMed. By evening and weekend, he's on the water at Surf the Smokies, the family's Fliteboard-partnered Fliteschool on Hunkerdown Hollow Farm — one of the only destinations of its kind in the region, where visitors experience the thrill of eFoiling above Douglas Lake with the Smokies rising all around them. Overnight guests find sanctuary at the farm's one-of-a-kind Lighthouse rental.

Trey is thrilled that this time, giving back to the community that captured his heart means hitting the dance floor for United Way of Sevier County.

Chuck was born in Morristown TN. Gatlinburg was one of his family's favorite areas. Chuck's family vacations were mostly to the Crazy Horse Campground in Pittman Center. He moved to Gatlinburg in 1996 and in 2000 began working at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies until present time. He works in Marketing/Sales/Special Events and Special Projects. Chuck lives in Strawberry Plains with his spouse Bobby Brown for the past 23 years. They have one child named Louie; he is a 14-year-old poodle. They also have 14 chickens.

Chuck's extracurricular activities include acting on stage, TV and film. His favorite role was Mr. Hart in 9 to 5 - The Musical. That was the first time he ever sang in front of a crowd. It helped him with being able to speak in front of a crowd for situations he has experienced since then. As with the acting, Chuck has been in close to 100 episodes of shows on the ID channel. The most recent being a detective in a show called, I'd Kill To Be You.... He was fortunate enough to be selected to be in a featured part in Dolly Parton's last Christmas movie.

Chuck is the President of the Sevierville Hospitality Association for 2025. He also serves on the advisory board for the Pigeon Forge Chamber and the Special Events board for the Sevierville Chamber.

Chuck has been a supporter of United Way since 1986. Along with Sevier County United Way staff, he helped organize the Great Shark Race in Gatlinburg for several years. United Way is a great organization to be associated with that helps so many people. He competed in United Way's Dancing with Stars in 2022 with Jessica Hale. They won the People's Choice award raising over $64,000 and stated it was the first time he had ever danced in front of a crowd.
