DR. DAVID THOMPSON, VP of Quality Control, ASDT Coalition of Disaster Responders

David was born in Oak Ridge, Tn. Growing up he attended schools in Nashville and Louisville, Kentucky. David has earned degrees from Belmont University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as Corporate Chaplain for Coca-Cola and The Lee Company as well as serving as Hawkins County Sherriff’s Chaplain.

David served as Chairman/Trustee of the North American Mission Board, (CP) SBC, Alpharetta Georgia (1999-2009). David is also a published author with Thomas Nelson Publisher and is a weekly contributor for papers in Florida and Michigan.

He and his wife, Marie, have four children – Landon, Leah Logan, and Lacey. He also has two stepchildren, Justin and Katherine, and five grandsons – Denver, Dallas, Cooper, Oaklin, and Shephard.
David enjoys golf, running, hiking, and staying active.

CRYSTAL WICKER, Commercial Marketing Associate, CertaPro Painters of East Tennessee

Crystal has been with CertaPro Painters of East Tennessee for almost 3 years, where she started her career as a Scheduling Coordinator and transitioned into the Commercial Marketing Role in August of this year. Her focus is customer development and prospecting but if you ask her, she just really enjoys talking to people.

Crystal was born in Clearwater, Florida, and grew up going to the beach most weekends as a child. Crystal met her husband Andrew in Highschool in Brandon, Florida. Andrew is an Army veteran that was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado, and that’s where her love of the mountains started. After multiple vacations to visit Tennessee and falling in love with the people and the county, in 2018 her family relocated from Riverview, Florida to Seymour, Tennessee. Crystal and her husband Andrew are kept busy with their three young boys, Aiiden age 12, Tristan age 10, and Parker age 6.

Crystal enjoys spending time with her family whether it be in the mountains, swimming, riding roller coasters, or just watching a movie.

When she puts her mind to something she can be a force to be reckoned with. She is excited and elated to be a part of such a prestigious event.
