Gina & Mike McReynolds

Gina McReynolds-Chief Operating Officer, Collier Restaurant Group

Gina moved to Tennessee in 2001 after living in West Virginia most of her life. Her parents owned a restaurant where she started working at a young age. Her parents taught her work ethic and how to be a good citizen in her community. When she moved to Tennessee, she started working for the Collier family and fell in love with the people of Sevier County. Gina and Mike started dating when she was still in high school and has been married for 30 years. They have one daughter, Heather, who is engaged to be married next year.

Gina is a proud member of the 100+ Women of Sevier County and serves on their leadership committee. Gina serves on the advisory committee for Northview High school and Walters State culinary departments. She was a 2024 graduate of Leadership Sevier. Gina has also volunteered at Smarm with their coats for the cold program as well as volunteering for the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce for various events. Helping people in need is a passion and priority for Gina.
In her free time Gina loves a good adventure, whether it is a day trip, concert or a great vacation. She loves time with her family more than anything. Her love language is cooking, so whipping up a big meal and having her family gather around the table is her true happiness. She believes life is short and you should embrace each day. She keeps Mike on his toes by getting them both into crazy experiences. They once entered a dance a thon where they danced for over 10 ½ hours without stopping. And now they are doing Dancing with the Stars for the Sevier County United Way, and they couldn’t be more excited to support such an incredible organization.

Mike McReynolds, ISS teacher Seymour Intermediate School/Football Coach Seymour High School

Mike was born in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area. After living in the big city of DC he moved to the country in the hills of West Virginia where his family had hundreds of acres of farmland. Mike spent a lot of time with his grandparents learning a lot of valuable skills that still help him today. Mike has had a very colorful career history. He used to be a Professional Wrestler working with WCW and WWF. One of his many matches was a televised match against the Undertaker on Monday Night Raw. He has also worked in the medical field as an EMT/Paramedic. Mike went back to college in 2004 and in 2009 he started working for the Sevier County school system where he really found his passion.

Mike spent several years working in the Special Education program before switching over as the In School Suspension teacher (no you don’t want your kid in his class!) at Seymour Jr High School. He is currently at Seymour Intermediate School.

Mike was the Head football coach at Seymour Jr High School for 8 years and is currently on the coaching staff at Seymour High School. He has been coaching at Seymour since 2009. Mike has a passion and talent for working with his players and not just as a coach, but a mentor as well. He takes this job very seriously and at one point along with his wife Gina, they became foster parents to one of his players and that player's 3 younger siblings. Coaching is so much more than the game and it is very evident when you see his players faces light up when they see him out and about in the community. You can tell exactly how much they respect and look up to him.

When Mike isn’t coaching he enjoys traveling with his wife, driving her to concerts on a minute’s notice, kayaking and of course talking about football. Mike also has volunteered over the years with the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce with the Bloomin’ BBQ Festival and other events. He is an only child and frequently travels to Florida to spend time with his dad. Mike and Gina have been able to build an amazing life in east TN and raise their daughter here. Mike loves helping in his community and is excited to work with the Sevier County United Way on Dancing with the Stars.
