Dr. Stacia Lewis, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction, Sevier County School System
Stacia Lewis, a native of Sevier County, currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for the Sevier County School System. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Carson-Newman University, a Master’s of Science and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from East Tennessee State University. Since 1992, she has served in the Sevier County School System, working in various roles including teaching at the intermediate grades and holding school-level administrative positions. She has been in her current role since 2021 and has been recognized as School-level Teacher of the Year, Tennessee Supervisor of the Year, and International Literacy Leader of the Year.
Outside of her professional life, her three greatest joys are her husband, Eddie Lewis, and their two sons, Harrison and Grayson Lewis. Both are professionally poised using their God-given talents in their respective field. Their Labrador Retriever, Tucker, is also a cherished member of the family. In her free time, Stacia enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and engaging in service to others.
Dr. Eddie Lewis, Pharmacist & Owner, Eddie’s Drug Store
Eddie Lewis, a lifelong resident of Sevier County, grew up in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas. He attended Pigeon Forge Elementary before moving on to Gatlinburg-Pittman High School. After graduation, Eddie pursued higher education at Walter’s State Community College and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He then continued his studies at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, earning his Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Joyfully returning to his hometown in Tennessee, Eddie began working alongside local pharmacists he admired for their servant-hearted approach to community care. Following much reflection and prayer, he felt called to create his own business, which led to the founding of Eddie’s Drug Store, where he could fully channel his passion for serving the community.
Eddie regards his greatest achievement as his Christian faith, acknowledging he is not perfect but continually growing. His highest accolade is his best friend and wife of 33 years, Dr. Stacia Lewis. He has two sons who are artistically accomplished in their own rights. Lastly, Tucker (Chocolate Lab), is in a league of his own. He firmly believes that “Faith, Love, and Family” are the keys to a fulfilling and blessed life.
