Callie Temple, Registered Nurse – LeConte Medical Center
Callie was born and raised in Sevierville. She met her husband, Andrew, in 2012 and were married in 2015. They will be coming up on thier 10-year anniversary in May of 2025!
Callie graduated from Walters State in 2014 with a degree in Sociology. She pursued a career as a closing agent for Tennessee Land Title and loved it for many years. Deep down her heart was always longing to help people in a different way though. She left her job to go back to Walters State in 2021 to pursue a nursing degree which she achieved this past December 2023. Callie now works as an RN at LeConte Medical Center in the emergency room and says she has loved every minute of it.
“I truly feel that I am where God wants me to be and it’s so fulfilling what I get to do every day for my patients. Andrew and I are both thrilled to be a part of DWTS this season and even more thrilled to be able to dance together and spend quality time together learning something new!”
Andrew Temple, Dir. Of Grants & Special Projects, Sevier County Government
Andrew is proud to say that he is a 5th generation Sevier County native and was raised in the shadows of the Courthouse in downtown Sevierville. After graduating Sevier County High School, he attended the University of Tennessee and majored in Communications Studies. While at UT Andrew was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. Shortly after college, he met his wife, Callie, and started working at Sevier County Bank. God had greater plans for him in 2022 when he accepted a position to work for Mayor Larry Waters at the Sevier County Courthouse as the Director of Grants and Special Projects.
“If I’m not at work or on a trip with Callie, you’ll find me on a golf course or cheering on the Vols, Braves, or Colts. I’ve said for years that I would only do DWTS if I could dance with Callie and even though this is outside of my comfort level, I’m excited to join this adventure with her and for us to help a great organization that helps so many in our great community.”
